AW8 Review: Welcome Bonus, Games and Licence Checked
AW8 is a casino and sportsbook for Malaysian players with sports, live casino, slots, e-sports, fishing, lottery and poker, and it runs a long list of promotions. This review sets out what we found on its site, aw8games.com, when we checked on 2 November 2026.
We rate AW8 3.4 out of 5 (see how we score casinos). Its welcome bonus terms list every provider exclusion, and it supports local QR and bank payments. The points to weigh: the Curaçao badge it shows has no licence number, the company behind it is not named, and its About Us section was empty.
Games and Products
The menu covers Sports, Casino, Poker, Lottery, Cockfight, E-Sports, Slots, Fishing, 3D Games and Fast Games. Slot providers on the homepage include Nextspin (currently running a joint promotion), PlayStar and YellowBat. Its e-sports section sits alongside the sportsbook; our esports betting guide explains how those markets work. There is also an app, with its own download bonus.
The 150% Welcome Bonus
| Wallet | Bonus | Max bonus | Turnover |
|---|---|---|---|
| Slots | 150% | MYR 1,500 | 35x |
| Sports | 150% | MYR 600 | 35x |
| Live casino | 150% | MYR 600 | 35x |
You claim it once, on your first transfer of at least MYR 50 into the slots, sports or live casino wallet. The exclusions are long. On live casino, Allbet, Dream Gaming, Playtech, Evolution and Asia Gaming do not count. On slots, Pragmatic Play, Mega888, 918Kiss and Pussy888 do not count. Sports bets count only on listed leagues such as the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1. The card does not say whether the 35x applies to the bonus or to deposit plus bonus, so ask support before claiming.
Other Promotions
AW8 also lists a 208% welcome bonus worth up to MYR 500 across your first three deposits, 200 free spins on registration, a "100% cashback" that covers your first bet, a crypto deposit bonus up to MYR 888, an app bonus up to MYR 188, 4D rebates up to 10%, a VIP upgrade bonus up to MYR 3,888 and a referral programme. VIP members are advertised a daily withdrawal limit above MYR 1,000,000.
Payments and Support
The footer lists Maybank QRPay, RHB, TruePay, WePay, OnePay and DuitNow, along with Touch 'n Go, GrabPay and Tether (USDT). Deposit and withdrawal limits are not published outside the cashier, and we have not tested a payout. Support runs through live chat, WhatsApp and Telegram.
The Licence Question
AW8 shows a "Gaming Curacao" logo next to an 18+ badge. The logo has no licence number and does not link to a validation page, which licensed Curaçao operators normally provide. Its terms and conditions describe the operator only as "The Company" and set the minimum age at 18. When we opened the About Us link, the window was empty. Curaçao has since moved to a new licensing system where licences are held directly by operators, and we found no such licence named on the site.
A Note on the Name
Search results for "AW8" also show AW8 Distribution (M) Sdn Bhd, a company in Puncak Alam, Selangor. It is unrelated to the casino. The casino itself appears under several addresses, including aw8games.com and aw8.com.my; check that you are on the casino's current site before entering any details.
The Verdict
We rate AW8 3.4 out of 5. It has a wide product range, local payment options and welcome bonus terms that spell out exactly which providers count. Against that, the Curaçao badge has no number behind it, the operator is not named, and its About Us page was empty when we checked. Weigh those points, or look through the casinos we have reviewed.
